Valheim

Valheim is what happens when a small team of five developers makes exactly the game they want to make. Set in a vast procedurally-generated Norse purgatory, you gather resources, build increasingly elaborate shelters, and defeat mythological bosses to unlock new biomes. Its seamless co-op for up to ten players makes it one of the best shared survival experiences available — the satisfaction of collaboratively constructing a Viking settlement and then sailing out to explore a new island together is hard to replicate. Its handcrafted art style gives it a visual identity far more striking than its modest production budget would suggest.
