GTA 6 Confirms Massive World Upgrade: Hundreds of Interactive Interiors Detailed

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed one of the biggest technical and gameplay upgrades coming to Grand Theft Auto VI compared to its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V: hundreds of fully enterable and interactive interiors!

While the actual open-world size of Leonida is focused heavily on density and depth rather than just massive empty land size, Rockstar is expanding the game by letting players step inside hundreds of buildings—ranging from convenience stores, gas stations, and restaurants to clubs, gyms, and banks.

Key Takeaways from the Update:

Massive Leap From GTA 5: To put things into perspective, GTA V launched with roughly 70 to 80 enterable interiors, and Vice City only had about 20 non-interactive ones. GTA 6 is shattering records with multiple hundreds of hand-crafted interior spaces.

Heist & Robbery Integration: With heists and a Bonnie-and-Clyde style dynamic between Jason and Lucia, these interiors will play a massive role. Players can scout locations, check out back-offices, disable alarms, and plan robberies dynamically in free-roam.

Next-Gen Focus: Built exclusively for current-gen hardware (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) ahead of its November 19, 2026 release, the game leverages ultra-fast streaming to make these spaces feel lively, detailed, and deeply immersive.

What do you think of this massive interior upgrade? Are you ready to case out Vice City's businesses when the game drops on November 19? Let’s discuss below! 🌴🔥
